My Education
I received a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. Prior to that I attended University of Southern California and received a Masters in Social Work. For both degrees I had supervised internships in outpatient and inpatient settings. My doctoral dissertation was “Marital Adjustment and Its Relationship to Family Interaction.”
On a regular basis I continue my education by attending seminars related to my interest in families and adults
My Work Experience
Prior to receiving my Masters in Social Work I worked in public welfare supervising children in foster homes. I worked at the Department of Child and Family Psychiatry which is part of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. I remained on staff there for 22 years supervising other clinicians and working with families and children. In 1989 I became licensed in Oregon and joined Willamette Valley Family Center in Oregon City.
